OUR STORY
This Didn’t Start With a Business Plan
For years, bringing people together was simply something I did. Through Scouting, university fundraising events, church game nights and cookouts, themed parties, and gatherings around my own table, I found myself drawn again and again to creating moments that gave people a reason to participate, laugh, connect, and feel included.
But becoming part of a Mardi Gras society helped me understand something deeper. Mardi Gras wasn't simply about the parties. It was the traditions, shared identity, anticipation, friendly rivalries, inside jokes, and the unmistakable feeling of being part of something.
It was belonging.
And I began wondering: Why should that feeling be limited to Mardi Gras—or to places where traditions like it already exist?
That question became part of the foundation for Social Impact Experiences.
WHY WE EXIST
Creating a Place to Belong
There are plenty of places to go and things to do. But some of the experiences we remember most aren't memorable because of where we were—they're memorable because of how we felt while we were there.
Social Impact Experiences is designed to create that feeling intentionally.
Our experiences use shared identities, traditions, challenges, celebrations, and a little friendly competition to make it easier for people to participate and connect. You might arrive with your closest friends, your coworkers, your family—or knowing almost no one at all.
But you shouldn't feel like you're simply standing in a room full of strangers.
